Climate change

This unit introduces the concept of climate change and the multiple effects of anthropic stresses on atmosphere, cryosphere, hydrosphere and ecosystems.
Interaction among students and with teacher is improved in a virtual class, for example Google Classroom.
To facilitate progression in learning, the class is engaged in various individual or group activities, using different sources of information: videos, websites, worksheets, scripts. Even a mooc (massive open online course) might be a good mean to achieve confidence both in language and in contents.
Evaluation is mainly formative and feedback is given through an assessment rubric.
Alternatively a summative test may be given at the end of the unit.
